Prime Shine Express Car Wash washed its first car on April 11th, 1991 on McHenry Avenue in Modesto, California. Since that day Prime Shine has serviced millions of customers who desire not only a quick and high quality car wash but one that is reasonably priced. Norm and Evan Porges, owners of Prime Shine Car Wash, created the washes with the intent to change the way the consumer thinks about car washing. Norm and Evan wanted to fill the void between the timely and pricey full service car wash and the laborious self-service option. After almost 20 years of being in business, it is clear that customers truly enjoy washing the Prime Shine way.
