Prime Shine has recently purchased a 30 foot passenger bus which will serve to shuttle students between the two campuses with out the need of moving their own vehicles. For every 20 rides, passengers will receive a free Prime Shine car wash.

CSU Stanislaus is home to the Porges Lecture hall located within the Demagasso-Bava business building which opened in 2001. Prime Shine founded the Champions of the American Dream lecture series conducted in cooperation with the CSU School of Business, which recognizes and awards an outstanding local business person who has made a significant contribution to their industry while giving back to the community. Norm Porges serves on the CSU Stanislaus Board of Trustees.

When the citizens of Stanislaus County began their dream of a first class performing arts center the local business community was summoned for financial support. Prime Shine was one of the first local businesses to provide financial support of this essential project.

This private-public sector partnership monitors public assistance and encourages private funding for Stanislaus County projects which results in the bettering of the county’s economic health, creating jobs and attracting new businesses to the area. Norm Porges serves as a Board Member.

The First Tee of Modesto - www.thefirsttee.org
This is a new chapter of the national organization who teaches life skills to children through the understanding of the game of golf. Although the program targets underprivileged kids ages 6-18, it is open to all who wish to experience the game of golf and become better citizens. Prime Shine was the first corporate contributor and Norm Porges is on the Board of Directors.
