Privacy Policy Overview

Prime Shine, Inc. (hereafter referred to as “Prime Shine”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) strongly believes in maintaining the privacy of our customers. We collect information from you in order to fulfill your orders, when you apply for credit, fill out an online survey or employment application and to create a more personalized online experience. Please read on for more details of our Privacy Policy.

Prime Shine Inc. is committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and safe online experience. This Statement of Privacy applies to the Prime Shine Inc. website and governs data collection and usage. By using the Prime Shine Inc. website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

1. Information we collect from you

We collect two categories of information from our visitors: identifying information and non-identifying information. Ultimately, our goal is to provide you with a customized, efficient user experience while using our site.

Identifying Information
Identifying information lets us know who you are. We ask for your personal information when you order products, fill out surveys or employment applications, join our subscription service (e.g. Birthday Club) and send us feedback. Examples of this category of information include your name, birthdate, zipcode, vehicle color, billing and shipping addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, credit card or other payment information, and product details. Obtaining this information allows us to fill your order or request, as well as provide you with personalized responses and services.

Non-Identifying Information
Non-identifying information helps us to monitor our sites and our customers’ browsing habits while browsing our site. We gather various details about you based on where and how you shop on our site in several ways. Examples of this information include the URL address of the website you came from (commonly called a “referer”), the path you follow through our site, information about the browser you are using, and your Internet Protocol (IP) address.

A URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is the global address of a document, page, or server on the Internet. An IP address is an identifier for a computer connected to a TCP/IP-based network such as the Internet (similar to a phone number); it is used to facilitate your ability to communicate with servers and other computers on the Internet. It does not necessarily identify you as an individual and helps protect against fraud.

Prime Shine Inc. websites will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Prime Shine Inc. or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Prime Shine Inc.; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Prime Shine Inc., or the public.

For customers who wish to join the Birthday Club, customers must check to agree to receive electronic communication from Prime Shine Car Wash. This includes Monthly Newsletters, Free Birthday Wash and exclusive coupons/discounts.

2. Where we collect information from you and how we use it

Our primary goal in collecting either type of information is to provide our visitors with an efficient, personalized online experience.

In regards to identifying information, we use it to fill orders and requests, respond to requests for employment consideration, contact purchasers to inform them of their order status, to send Prime Shine promotional information (unless requested not to do so by e-mailing this request to customer_service@primeshine.com), to enhance the operation of our site and administer our systems.

We review the browsing habits of our visitors on an aggregate basis to determine our customers’ preferences - whether we can make changes to make your browsing experience quicker, easier, or to make other improvements.  

3. With whom we share your information

Outside of information shared for the purpose of troubleshooting technical or service related issues with our Point of Sale vendor support team, Prime Shine does NOT make use of third-party e-mail, advertising, or other services. We have a very strong NO SPAM policy, and actively work to stem the amount of incoming spam we receive. Your e-mail address and personal information will not be shared with anyone.

  • In the process of shipping your order, we do share your name, address, and phone number with our shipping carriers (i.e. UPS, FED-EX).
  • If you pay by credit card, we do share your identifying information with our credit card processor and their agent(s). They are required under federal law to keep your personal information confidential, private, and secure.

Prime Shine Car Wash uses My Emma to store Birthday Club Subscribers information. Birthday Club subscribers have the right, at any time, to request access to a copy of the data stored on My Emma. The customer may, without any notice to Prime Shine Car Wash, ask My Emma that they opt out their email address from one, many, or all customer lists on which it’s included. Any request for access or opt out should be sent via email to privacy@myemma.com. Requests for data will be fulfilled within two business days. Opt out requests will be processed within 10 business days.

4. Security precautions in place to protect against loss/misuse/alteration

We have taken steps, both electronically and physically, to protect your information as best as we can once it is in our hands. But as with any electronic transmissions, despite our best efforts, one should understand that there is not a guarantee that your information won’t be intercepted or accessed without authorization.

Our order forms, order status, and other points of entry for sensitive information are protected and encrypted via a ECDHE_RSA_AES256_SHA384(or better) cipher and occurs over an SSL (TLS 2) connection using a SHA256RSA(or better) signature algorithm. Employee access to your information is restricted. Employees are granted specific access to specific information in order to complete your order. When entering credit card information, you are given the option to have us store your details for future orders.

Prime Shine Inc. secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Prime Shine Inc. secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other Web sites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

Contact data uploaded onto Emma is stored on servers that offer reasonable protection for non-sensitive, directory information (name, email address). The application is not designed to store, nor should it be used to store, private or uniquely identifiable personally identifiable information (PII). Emma reserves the right to monitor customers’ contact lists, content, response data and account activity to enforce Emma’s Terms of Use. Access to customer data is restricted to only those Emma employees who need that access to support the application, enforce Emma’s Terms of Use, or perform tasks vital to ensure the stability of or improve the functionality of the application. In the event of Prime Shine’s Emma account closure, Emma will retain data stored on the application’s servers for 40 days, at most, after which that data will be aggregated and deleted.
